The Eclipse Duo features the talents of Canadians Shawn Anthony Kirst

          (guitarist and vocalist) and songstress Heidi Michelle Thomas 1st.

 

Eclipse is extremely versatile as you can see by their diverse song list and offers full band background sequences. They are perfect for both, a relaxed setting, or a lively venue.

Eclipse's repertoire offers an array of Ballads, Blues, Rock, Pop, Dance, R & B, Latino, Reggae, Country and Jazz standards of the biggest world chart billboard artists. Through their performances; now adding up to over a 1000 dates, they have acquired a catalogue of hundreds of songs and styles available upon request.

 

Heidi is a trained musical theatre and film actress who has toured in stage musicals, cabarets and Las Vegas reviews across Canada and on the seas. 

Heidi has appeared in 4 feature films as well as released her own original solo C.D. ‘Goddess & Creamcheese’ and music video.

 

Shawn is an L.A. blues/rock guitarist and vocalist who has been performing across the North American A-Circuit in both original & cover projects for 15 yrs. 

Shawn is an accomplished teacher of the bass and guitar, and is currently working on his debut album.

 

Shawn joined Heidi 5 years ago as her partner on and off stage and they have since performed together in over 30 countries.Together they have toured a tribute show (musically designed by Shawn), to artists Madonna, Annie Lennox, Christina Aguilera,Debby Harry, Gwen Stefani, & Marilyn Monroe.

 

Heidi single handedly impersonated all of these Diva’s in the show 'Vintage Blonde', on Cruise ships, in Casinos, and Clubs across North America. As well, headlined in a United Nations armed forces Christmas show tour 2003, through Croatia, Egypt, England, Germany, Israel, & Syria.

 

Heidi received standing ovations for her impressions, along with Canadian recording artists ‘Glass Tiger’, in a star studded show that played to soldiers of 11 peacekeeping countries.

 

The Eclipse Duo have done 4 contracts performing for Norwegian Cruise Lines. The Spring of 2006 was spent aboard the NCL Dream, followed by the NCL Crown. The Spring of 2005 was spent aboard the NCL Wind and the Fall of 2004 /Winter 2005 on the NCL Majesty.

 

The Eclipse Duo spent the summer into fall of 2004 contracted at Flanagan's Pub, in Bermuda. There they played on Front St., directly opposite the harbor of all the major cruise line vessels. They enjoyed a very busy season receiving rave reviews from both tourists and locals.

 

The Eclipse Duo previous performance found them in Dubai, U.A.E. 2003. Heidi and Shawn played in the #1 nightclub of the 5-star Holiday Inn, followed by an engagement in the Harvester's Pub, of the 5 star Crowne Plaza as well as feature performances in the intimate elite Piano Bar.

Heidi & Shawn spent two years performing as Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines top cruise ship entertainers. Contracted for 2001-2002 to entertain between the world’s largest vacation vessels. They have played some of the hottest resort spots including the Bahamas, Grand Cayman, Jamaica, Mexico, Miami, Nassau, Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, and the Virgin Islands.
